The Boat

Our vessel KALM SEAS is a 33 x 12.6’ Flowers Downeast built in Walpole Maine . A super soft riding and exceptionally stable boat, this Spencer Lincoln designed hull, will take you anywhere and back in comfort and security.

It is powered by an exceptionally efficient, quiet and powerful Volvo 450 horsepower turbo diesel, giving cruising speeds of 18 kts and topping out at 26 kts.   It is equipped with a transmission troll valve allowing us to troll as slow as .1 MPH!

It features a very large deck with a closed in transom that not only provides ample room for fishing, but makes it very safe, especially for children !  

Our transom is also equipped with a  full walk through transom/tuna door for boarding, scuba divers or  landing large fish (giant tuna) 

A fully enclosed pilot house provides a warm (heated) and dry place with seating to get out of foul weather.

The V-berth provides a private full stand up head, lots of storage for belongings, and a place for those who may want to law down and rest during the day. 
The vessel is equipped with all the comforts of home including full enclosed head with toilet shower & sink.   Both hot & cold water.   Also equipped with Air Conditioning, heat, refrigerator, microwave, cook top, coffee maker and tons of storage.     
In the enclosed wheelhouse the is plenty of seating for all passengers.    The large cockpit provides plenty of space for 6 to fish.   


KALM SEAS is fully insured and exceeds all of the safety equipment required by the US coast guard, including:

Cat 1 PFDs (Life jackets) for all passengers
4 childrens auto inflatable PFDs (very comfortable & safe for small children)

The vessel is equipped with heavy duty LD outriggers, allowing us to troll up to 8 lines at a time to increase hook ups when fishing live baits or many different types of lures, whether we are fishing for trophy striped bass, blue fish, school or giant blue fin tuna.

Fish deep with our pair of Cannon down riggers for controlled depth to get the baits down where the big fish hang out!!!

We have a high capacity live-well with a very high volume pump to keep our baits lively to increase hooks ups!
